Sari Kheder is the firm principal of Port Adelaide Lawyers. At the age of two, his family left Iraq due to being of Kurdish minority and being persecuted for decades. After travelling on foot for four days his family arrived in Syria where they resided in a refugee camp for six years. At the age of eight his family was sponsored by church members in Auckland New Zealand.
After living in New Zealand for ten years his family took the next leap to relocate to Adelaide for better opportunities for the family. After completing year 11 and 12 at Woodville High School he got into Law and Legal Practice and International Studies specialising in International Relations and Spanish. Six years later he completed his degrees.
Being fluent in four languages made it easier to attract employers. After four years of practice in three law firms; he started purchased Port Adelaide Lawyers in 2018 at the age of 29. Port Adelaide lawyers serves the community by taking on legal aid matters and providing fixed fees to make legal representation more accessible and affordable.
Port Adelaide Lawyers specialises in criminal law, family law, victims of crime, conveyancing, Wills and estates. Sari is now focused on becoming an Independent Children’s Lawyer which he hopes to achieve by the end of 2026.
