A heartening story of support through the Circle of Friends in Adelaide, written by Adelaide writer and poet, Mij Tanith. Mij established a Circle of Friends under the COFA organisation to raise money to sponsor to Australia an Afghani single mother and her daughters who were refugees trapped in Iran. It did not end there. The book, a non-fiction, told in prose and poetry, also documents the difficulties that refugees face when establishing themselves in a new country.
The book was launched by the Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Dr. Jane Lomax-Smith AM at the Adelaide City Town Hall in March of 2026.
